LOVED this story soo much. It is Captivating, Breathtaking and Beautiful. As soon as I started reading I knew it was special. I felt it almost immediately. The writing is superb. I was blown away by this authors words and story telling.
Feeling this story not just reading it is the best. This is why I read. I felt the butterflies and that good funny feeling in my chest that wouldn't go away because as I kept turning pages I kept getting more feels.
For the most part I know we "readers" fall in love with the characters. We love the hero/heroine and I do love Achille and Caresa I truly do. They are fabulous-amazing-adorable! But I MUST say this time I fell <b>IN LOVE</b> with the story! Seriously In Love with this passionate lovely love story. #Wooed

There are no triggers for this book.
It's a coming of age with the old time beliefs of a fixed marriage.
I wish I could rate this book by the second half, but unfortunately, books are meant to be rated as a whole.
We have Ceresa. She's what's supposed to be a Dutchess. I say supposed to be because, unless your part of the royal family, in this time and age, the title won't go too far.
She is to travel from New York, back to Italy. She's going to help her future husband, Zeno (the king to be), keep their business in wine afloat after the death of The King.
While she's there, she meets Achille. He's the man behind the wine.
Through him she learns of the land, the grapes, and most of all love.
But throughout all this, about the first half, I was bored.
The description was, overload. Of course every label had to be thrown in. From suits, to gowns. Make-up to shoes. It wouldn't of been bad, but we had the description of a mansion that pretty much wasn't needed til way later in the book. With everything thrown in throughout the travel from New York (Daddy's G5), to Italy (with her favorite wine), with all the description, too much. The barn, the lands, the vines, the horses, the cottage (after being described in the painting at the mansion home) again. And the list goes on.
Details can often make or break a book. The beginning for me, I almost quit.
But...
This is a Tillie Cole book, so I pushed on.
Now part two, I hate Insta love. It's a huge trigger warning for me. But dear Lord, I melted right along with the couple on that first kiss. It was sweet, touching and just awww. From here more little sub plots come into play and the book played out. It was a predictable fairy tale.
If I could just rate the book on part two, for sure easy five-star.
But it doesn't work that way. I've taken in all factors. The beginning, ending, the virtually flawless editing and go a solid three. The break in POV to Achille also helped in the plot. With his pure and innocent heart.
This is a definite book I would say read if you like a modern day fairy tale.
